We kicked off the month with an in-person event at The Tetley (thanks to everyone who came along - it was a lovely evening). Mid-month, we headed to Malta to celebrate our tenth anniversary, and we managed to find plenty of new brews plus a lovely craft beer bar in Valletta (as well as lots of Maltese wine).

But before I share more about what we’ve been drinking, here are the details of the next new brew events.

Online New Brew Networking

Sign up, grab a new brew, then log in for a friendly chat.

You'll be asked to introduce yourself, tell us a bit about your business, and let us know what you’re drinking. Once everyone has done this, we’ll just chat about whatever comes up.

There are no sales pitches or presentations. It’s just a group of business owners having a beer together.

Venue shout-out: 67 Kapitali, Malta

We weren’t staying in Valletta, but we booked a night there for our anniversary and after a day of exploring (and sampling lots of tasty treats), we headed to 67 Kapitali - a cosy craft beer bar where we tried some lovely brews and soaked up the beers with a delicious sharing board.

What we’ve been drinking in October…

Here’s a quick rundown of what we’ve been drinking in October

New Brews at Home

We were away for half the month, so we haven’t had many beers at home, but the ones we did have were very good (a couple even made our Top 5).

New Brews Out and About

As always, we’ve been on the lookout for tasty new brews when we’re out and about, and we found a fair few, including these:

What’s on the menu for November?

We’re starting the month at Northern Monk’s Dark & Wild festival, and we can’t wait. We went in 2023 and tried some fantastic beers. This year’s list looks amazing, with so many great beers to choose from. Tickets have sold out, but I will let you know as soon as next year’s event is on sale.

We’ve also got a few porters and stouts to work through (once the clocks go back, the beers go black), including this selection:

And as always, we’ll be on the lookout for interesting new brews when we’re out and about.

I’m always open to recommendations, so do let me know good beers you’ve been drinking recently, and I hope to see you at my next new brew event in a few days.

Cheers!
