This month we’ve been drinking beers in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as sampling plenty of UK-brewed craft ales.
Craft beer in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina
We started the month in Dubrovnik, celebrating Alex’s birthday (which is the last day of May). During our trip, we also popped over the border to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a day.
We managed to find craft beer bars in both Dubrovnik and Mostar, and also found plenty of new brews in the supermarkets and shops.
Ghost Faith

We’ve tried Ghost Ship a few times, and Faith has long been one of my favourite beers (although, sadly, I don’t think it’s as good since they lowered the ABV 😢). So when we saw Adnams and Northern Monk had done a collab - Ghost Faith - we just had to try it.
Completely coincidentally, we were down in Southwold, home of Adnams, last month, so we made it our mission to source a couple of cans. Of course, we couldn’t try Ghost Faith without also trying the two OGs, so we picked up Ghost Ship and Faith too.
It was nice trying them together, and you got some flavours from both Ghost Ship and Faith in the Ghost Faith. An excellent collab.

New Brews at Home
This month, we put a keg of Baffo d'Oro on our Blade, so we had a supply of cold draft beer for those garden days. We also had a good selection of new brews in between.

New Brews Out and About
As always, we’ve been on the lookout for tasty new brews when we’re out and about, and we found a fair few, including these:

We’re definitely not short of choice at the minute with two fridges overflowing with beer. We’ll be starting the month with a selection of Northern Monk Heathens (over a couple of nights because some are pretty strong).

We’re also off to Manchester for a day, so no doubt we’ll visit one of the awesome brewery taprooms while we’re there.
And, as always, we’ll be on the lookout for exciting new brews when we’re out and about. Feel free to send me your recommendations, and I’d love you to join me in person for a new brew at my next New Brew Networking event.
Cheers!
